Ethnic Rhinoplasty Procedure Steps

Your surgical steps will depend on two things: your desired aesthetic changes and your nasal anatomy. As such, each case is entirely unique to the procedure; No two ethnic rhinoplasty procedures are alike. However, a general ethnic rhinoplasty procedure may look like the following:

• Dr. Diamond will begin by making incisions in the appropriate location, either inside the nostrils (closed rhinoplasty) or across the columella (open rhinoplasty).
• Through these incisions, Dr. Diamond will make necessary adjustments, which may include adjusting the nasal bridge, reducing the size of the nostrils, augmenting the bridge or tip for greater projection, smoothing nasal bumps, or other procedures.
• Accompanying procedures like a brow lift may be performed at the same time, depending on the duration of the procedure.
• Once Dr. Diamond is satisfied with the results, he will close the incisions with neat sutures. Your nose will likely be bandaged and placed in a splint, as well.
