Facial injectables are the ideal solution for those who seek a temporary correction of wrinkles on all areas of the face. Many candidates choose injectable treatments as an alternative to more invasive surgery, such as a facelift or eyelid lift, because there is no downtime involved.

As a facial plastic surgery specialist who prides himself on providing superior results for his patients, Dr. Jason B. Diamond personally performs all of the facial injectable treatments offered at his Beverly Hills practice.

BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic is the most popular minimally invasive cosmetic procedure to date. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a neurotoxin that effectively treats moderate to severe wrinkles on the forehead and glabellar (between the eyebrows) area, as well as crow’s feet and wrinkles on the neck and chin. BOTOX® Cosmetic minimizes fine lines and wrinkles by inhibiting the facial nerves that cause recurring wrinkles in these particular areas. Results become apparent a few days after the treatment and last from four to six months.

About BOTOX® Cosmetic

RADIESSE®

RADIESSE® is an injectable filler made of a naturally occurring substance in the body called calcium hydroxyapatite. Once injected, it will generate the body’s natural ability to produce collagen, which provides the skin with youthful thickness. This process leads to results that continue to improve over a period of one to three months. Final results can last up to one year.

Restylane®

The hyaluronic acid in Restylane® is almost identical to that found naturally in the body. Restylane® is most commonly used for lip augmentations, and to smooth fine lines and wrinkles in the nasolabial folds and tear troughs. Results with this dermal filler can last six to nine months.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus

JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus is a hyaluronic acid gel that temporarily adds volume to facial tissues and smooths wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, including nasolabial folds. Results with JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus last about one year.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC

This dermal filler is similar to JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus, but JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC also contains a small amount of lidocaine, which is a local anesthetic that reduces discomfort during the procedure. This filler minimizes the appearance of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds around the mouth and nose, including nasolabial folds. Results with JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC can last nine months to one year.

About JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC is a long-acting dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine. It is the only filler that is FDA approved to correct volume loss in the midface caused by aging and is commonly used to add volume to the cheeks. Results with JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC last up to two years.

BELOTERO BALANCE®

BELOTERO BALANCE® is a new hyaluronic acid filler that is strong enough to treat deep nasolabial folds, yet gentle enough to treat wrinkles on the delicate upper lip line and the area around the eyes. It is also used to add volume to the lips. Results are seen immediately and can last six months or longer.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections improve facial wrinkles and fill facial hollows on every area of the face using the patient’s own blood. The platelets within the blood contain proteins that stimulate cell growth and repair damaged cells. As a result, the skin will continue to improve for up to three months after treatment, with final results lasting up to two years. PRP is the main component of the “Vampire Facelift” and is especially effective in more delicate areas of the face where the skin is very thin. Most commonly, a series of treatments is most beneficial, as the subsequent results do build upon one another.
